Dear neighbor,

As an activist, I have spent most of my life working on national and international issues.  But now, a local issue has arisen that has me very concerned.  There are two political races that will determine whether Oregon continues to have the strongest land use and land protection in the nation.  These races will set the next fifty years' land use policy in Oregon.

Bob Stacey (running for Metro president) and Greg Mecklem (running for Washington County Commissioner) will work together to protect our precious farmlands, and they will promote sensible growth with an emphasis on developing green industry and green jobs.  Their opponents will do just the opposite!
